ABOUT
GORDON
Gordon’s professional
journey began when he
joined the Navy during
his senior year of high
school. His service took
him to Vietnam, where
he spent four years. As
a qualified sonar
technician and ship’s
diver, he viewed serving
his country as a
meaningful way to give
back. Following his
military service,
Gordon pursued a
career in
telecommunications,
inspired by his father,
brother, and sister, all
of whom worked for
Michigan Bell Telephone
(MBT).
Gordon went on to build
a successful career as
an engineer, spending
over 17 years with MBT.
After experiencing
multiple reductions in
force (RIFs) and
workplace challenges,
he made the decision
to establish his own
company,
Telecommunications
Engineers, Inc. (TCE,
Inc.). As a telecom
consultant and business
strategist, he
specialized in fiber and
copper network
infrastructure, planning
technologies, and
enterprise systems
engineering. He focused
on serving Tier 2 and
Tier 3 providers, while
also supporting large
Tier 1 organizations
such as AT&T and
Verizon.
